A useful label tells you what is in a product and how to use it. Start with the serving size: a large scoop does not necessarily mean a large amount of the ingredient you want.
Read the details
Compare nutrient or ingredient amounts per serving, then check the ingredient list for sweeteners, flavours and allergens. Look for the FSSAI licence number, manufacturer details, batch number, dates and storage instructions on the pack.
Look beyond the front
Marketing phrases are less useful than a clear ingredient list and stated amounts. Consider how the serving fits your diet, and follow the directions and warnings on the pack. Keep the batch number handy if you need to ask the seller a question.
